Version 2.5.0003 includes a number of significant enhancements and additions, making EasyErlang  the most versatile and comprehensive workforce management and call center planning tool in its price range.

New Functionality

New calculations

  1. Excess capacity: shows the call centers actual call handling capacity vs. the anticipated call volume

  2. Maximum queue wait time: estimates the longest time a call may wait to be serviced

  3. User can specify planned shrinkage to increase headcount requirements accordingly

New Graphs

  1. Queue time graph shows both average and maximum queue time in a single chart

  2. Capacity graph shows CPH for easy assessment of required vs. actual capacity

User Interface

  1. User can select columns to display

  2. EasyErlang window is resizable with horizontal scroll bar

  3. New Export command to save entire calculation table to Excel (.xlw) or text (.csv)  file

  4. Average Handling Time (AHT) can be specified in a time format (e.g. 2:35) or in seconds (e.g. 215)

  5. Improved Save operation:
    Selecting Save from the File menu, always opens the Save as dialog.
    If the file already exists, then the data is appended to the file

The saved information includes target service levels.

Bug Fixes

  1. Problems when canceling printer setup dialog box. Fixed.

  2. Fractional agents display (right click) sometimes didn’t close. Fixed.

  3. Progress bar reflects progress of calculations accurately.

  4. Improved scaling of Capacity graph.

  5. Fixed a problem in saving .csv files.

  1. Added calculations of maximum call capacity per agent and maximum number of calls that will be queued
  2. Values are saved upon program exit and are restored and recalculated automatically upon startup
